We went as a group of four last Saturday. The story is simple: you're locked in an old library and have to find a missing book in sixty minutes. The puzzles were challenging but fair — not as difficult as the ones at the Castle room, but far more creative. The best part was the atmosphere: real old books, dim light and a clock that ticks louder and louder. It was so exciting that we forgot about our phones completely.
The only downside was the price — £22 each, which is slightly more expensive than other rooms in town — and the waiting area, which is too small for two groups. Book in advance: Saturday evenings sell out a week ahead.
Overall, it's perfect for friends or colleagues, and easy enough for beginners, but I wouldn't recommend it for children under ten — some parts are quite dark. Highly recommended!
