Аргумент на C1 — не «за и против», а позиция, проверенная самым сильным возражением. Порядок: позиция → возражение в его сильнейшей версии (steelman) → уступка (I grant that; even though / even if; admittedly) → ответ (rebut: this overlooks; this does not follow; however + прил.) → взвешивание (outweigh; the decisive consideration; on balance) → вывод, соразмерный доводам (proportionate). Вывод сильнее доводов — главная ошибка уровня.

Нюансы
- grant — «допускаю» в аргументе: I grant that … but; granted, … (вводное).
- rebut — опровергнуть доводом; refute — доказать ложность; deny — просто отрицать.
- this does not follow — non sequitur: посылка верна, вывод не вытекает.
- outweigh — A outweighs B (A важнее); не «outweighs over».
- Соразмерность: «supports a trial», не «proves the shuttle will work».
