Ошибки новичков: For us the deadline is not negotiable — понятно, но идиома non-negotiable; provided that you will pay → provided that you pay; We should agree the scope earlier (о прошлом) → should have agreed.
Нюансы
- in principle = «да в целом, детали открыты»; всегда дополняйте условием (subject to).
- I can live with that — принимаю не идеальное; звучит честно.
- deal-breaker — называйте один-два, не пять: иначе это не переговоры.
- Фиксация вслух (to sum up) + письмо в тот же день — иначе стороны запомнят разное.
