have / get + объект + 3-я форма — услуга, выполненная другим: I had the boiler serviced, we're having a shower installed, I'm getting the car checked, you should have the brakes checked; get — разговорно и в повелении (get it fixed); by + мастер; порядок слов: had the car washed ≠ had washed the car

I fixed it (сам) — I had it fixed (услуга) — I had my assistant call (человек, без to) — I got my brother to fix (человек, с to) — she had her bag stolen (неприятность); myself — усиление; DIY vs leave it to a professional; end up + -ing

с comparative: far / much / a great deal (сильно), somewhat (средне), slightly / marginally (слабо), no better than; с as … as: nowhere near / not nearly, just as, twice as; с superlative: by far; very + comparative — ошибка
